These Terms of Paid Services govern the purchase and use of paid features available on the Stick.lv platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). By purchasing any paid service, the User confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.
1. General Provisions
Paid services are optional features that improve the visibility and effectiveness of advertisements published on the Service.
The purchase of paid services is voluntary and is not required to use the basic functionality of the Service.
The current list of services, their descriptions, duration and prices are displayed on the website before payment is made.
2. Paid Services
The Service may offer, among others, the following paid services:
• VIP advertisement placement;
• TOP advertisement placement;
• Highlighting an advertisement with a special color or design;
• Extension of advertisement publication period;
• Other paid promotional services introduced in the future.
The administration reserves the right to modify, add or discontinue paid services at any time.
3. Prices
All prices are displayed before payment confirmation.
The Service reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect services that have already been purchased and paid for.
Unless otherwise stated, prices include all applicable taxes required by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
4. Payment Methods
Payments may be made using payment methods available on the website, including but not limited to:
• Montonio;
• PayPal;
• other payment methods added by the Service in the future.
Payment processing is performed by third-party payment providers. The Service does not store users' bank card details.
5. Service Activation
Paid services are activated automatically after successful payment confirmation.
In exceptional cases caused by technical issues, activation may be delayed. The administration will make reasonable efforts to activate the purchased service as quickly as possible.
6. Duration of Paid Services
Each paid service remains active for the period selected during purchase.
After expiration, the service is automatically disabled without additional notice.
The User may purchase the same service again after its expiration.
7. Refund Policy
Since paid services are digital services that begin immediately after successful payment, refunds are generally not available once the service has been activated.
Refunds may be granted only in the following situations:
• payment was successful but the service was not activated due to a technical error;
• duplicate payment for the same service was made by mistake;
• other cases required by applicable law.
If the paid service has already been provided in full or in part, refunds are generally not possible.
Approved refunds are processed using the same payment method that was used for the purchase whenever technically possible.
8. User Cancellation
The User may cancel a purchase only before the paid service has been activated.
Once the digital service has started, cancellation is no longer possible.
9. No Guarantee of Results
Paid services increase the visibility of advertisements but do not guarantee:
• sale of goods or services;
• number of views;
• number of messages or phone calls;
• any commercial result.
The effectiveness of an advertisement depends on many factors beyond the control of the Service.
10. Technical Availability
The Service strives to provide uninterrupted operation but cannot guarantee continuous availability due to maintenance, updates, failures or force majeure circumstances.
Temporary interruptions do not automatically entitle the User to compensation or refunds.
11. User Responsibility
The User is responsible for ensuring that the advertisement complies with the website Rules and applicable legislation.
If an advertisement is removed due to violation of the Rules, paid services purchased for that advertisement are not refunded.
12. Limitation of Liability
The Service shall not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, missed business opportunities or any losses arising from the use or inability to use paid services.
The maximum liability of the Service shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the User for the relevant paid service.
13. Changes to the Terms
The Service reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms become effective upon publication on the website and apply only to future purchases unless otherwise required by law.
